Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers

INGREDIENTS
  • 12 jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 12 slices bacon
  • 24 toothpicks
DIRECTIONS

STEP 1

Slice jalapenos in half lengthwise, seeds and membranes

removed. Fill all jalapeño halves with cream cheese.

STEP 2

Cut bacon pieces in half and wrap each jalapeño half with bacon, secure with a toothpick. Place wrapped jalapeños on a cookie sheet.

STEP 3

Place wrapped jalapeños on cookie sheet.

STEP 4

Bake at 375O – 400O F for 30 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Remove and enjoy.

NOTES
Parchment paper on the cookie sheet helps minimize clean-up. I also like to use a rack on the cookie sheet to let the bacon grease drip away from the finished product.
