Sacramento City College Student Services Building

Capital provided Los Rios Community College District with mechanical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler engineering services for the new Student Services Building at Sacramento City College. The new 2-story building will provide multiple services to the students at the college, including administrative and testing center spaces.

Sustainable design and exceptional energy efficiency were integrated throughout the building, which features high efficiency HVAC and domestic water heating systems. The campus central utility plant provides chilled water for cooling and local high efficiency boilers produce hot water for heating. The energy management system was programmed to monitor, control, and optimize the performance of mechanical and electrical systems.
