Merritt College Center for Science and Allied Health

Capital provided energy modeling services for this new 4 story 108,000 SF Science and Health Center on the Merritt College campus.

Overlooking San Francisco Bay, the new building will house programs for health and sciences, including biology, anatomy, geology, chemistry, and physics labs, as well as hospital simulation rooms, lecture and computer rooms, nutrition kitchens, classrooms and offices.

Energy modelling services included preparation of a Title 24-2008 Compliance Report using the Whole Building Method. Energy modelling to simulate the proposed Dual Duct VAV system was performed using EPro software and was used to determine eligibility for SavingBy Design program incentives.
