LAVTA Bus Fuel & Wash
LAVTA Bus Fuel And Wash Facility At Atlantis Court
This project was the initial phase of an overall project that will eventually include a new maintenance and administration complex in Livermore to serve the Livermore Amador Valley Transportation Authority (LAVTA) bus fleet.
The Bus Fueling and Wash Facility includes single lane automated bus wash, dual lane covered fueling island, lubrication bays, offices, storage, vault, staff break room, restrooms, and a wash water recycling system. The project was delivered via design-build with close collaboration between the construction and design teams.
Capital provided HVAC design, plumbing design and commissioning services, as well as review of designs for the bus wash and lubrication systems. HVAC systems included roof top package units serving the staff and office area and exhaust systems serving the process areas. Plumbing systems included domestic and industrial water waste, storm drain and fluid distribution, and services connected to the bus wash and water recycling systems.
Fundamental systems commissioned include fuel, compressed air, bus-wash and reclamation, hose reel, and lubrication. The project design was completed in 3D Revit to facilitate coordination
