Sutter Medical Center Consolidation and Renovation: Sacramento, CA
Mechanical engineering for an extensive hospital consolidation project including a new patient tower, renovation of the existing Sutter General Hospital and Buhler Building plus the addition of parking and medical office/out patient functions. Total project cost $480 million (includes new Women’s & Children’s and SMF Energy Center, also designed by CECI)
• 440,000 square foot remodel expansion on operating hospital
• 6 phases
• Includes 18 new surgery suites
• New laboratory
• New pre-operative and post-operative
• Extensive renovation and addition of pediatric emergency room
