Organizational Structure
Capital Engineering is organized in a team format with each group headed
by a principal of the firm. The teams focus on specific practice areas while
also aligning with client relationships to maintain continuity
and add to service. The primary teams are:
Aaron Bagger MBA, Operations Manager
Aaron, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business and a
Masters degree in Business Administration, brings accounting know-how to the
CECI team through his experiences at a San Francisco-based international
container leasing company and a Sacramento-based architectural firm.
Currently, Aaron is in charge of cash flow projections, month and
year-ending accounting functions, payroll, and biweekly financial reporting
to the Executive Group.
Andy Heekin Sr. Associate Director, Director of Construction Admin.
As manager of Construction Administration and Field Services, Andy supervises and supports
the efforts of our Construction Administration and Field Services staff.
• During construction, this department augments the capabilities of
our design staff to assist our clients, contractors and owners with
the successful completion of their projects.
• Additional services include: Pre-design building assessments,
constructibility reviews, cost estimates, due diligence reports,
forensic review and commissioning.
Andy is also the Facilitator of the University of Capital Engineering—our staff development program. Supplementing this in-house continuing education program are our knowledgeable resources from the industry such as clients, manufacturers, and professional associations. The University of Capital Engineering is grounded in our commitment to our employees, our clients, and the industry.
Art Davis Foodservice Design
Art has joined our firm as a Foodservice Design Consultant. We are excited to offer our clients kitchen consulting as part of our growing list of services. Art has over twenty years of experience in the industry meeting project needs by ensuring strict conformance with applicable regulations, schedules and budgets.
Chuck Shinneman Sr. Associate Director of Sustainability & Optimization
Capital Engineering Consultants, Inc., has named Chuck Shinneman, Director of Sustainability and Optimization.
Mr. Shinneman is responsible for overseeing the firm’s energy programs, and will play an integral role in expanding the company’s capabilities, including:
• K-12 public school Proposition 1D green funding consulting
• Cogeneration Plant analysis, design and Commissioning - An owner driven quality control process for facilities
• Title 24 performance analysis and across discipline design optimizationproject management
• Retrofit energy analysis and design for the commercial and institutional markets
Michael Risch Associate, Information Technology
With a 21 year IT/CAD management career, Mike brings a high degree of
technical expertise, communication and organizational skills, as well as
project management and analytical skills. As Manager of IT, Mike has full
responsibility for the design, development, implementation and support of
the entire corporate information technology at CECI.
Trish Porter Marketing & Business Development
Trish brings 10 years of A/E industry experience to CECI's marketing efforts. She is responsible for the day-to-day marketing effort, business development, web site maintenance and proposal materials for the firm.
